Hey Mark.

First I heard about your bout with cancer (I've been away awhile) but, it's great to hear that you are doing good.  If the good Lord ain't through with you yet, you'll be here for awhile longer.  I thank Him every morning, that He wasn't through with me back in November.

I guess I need to get started on a bunch of kits I've got stashed.

Hiya Mark,

Welcome back my friend! Smile [:)]      I was wondering the other day about you, with all the recent Chinook activity in modeling going on, and became concerned when I rememered your hospital stay... so glad to see you kicking again! Thumbs Up [tup]

I'm sorry I did not reply earlier, but the wife and I are without offspring at home now, so one of those "spur of the moment" mini vacations occured! Wink [;)]    I said to her; "You know, we're going to get use to this!" Big Smile [:D]

I found the boxart for the upcoming Italeri "D Model"....

..... Pretty cool, aye?

I also found some references to a new 1/72 Chinook from Trumpeter, an "A" and a "D" if I'm not mistaken... http://www.modelcraftsandhobbies.co.nz/?page=shop/flypage&product_id=7758&category_id=c28416dd4f8ed0a5f2c0df6f6ac511d8&

I'm curious if the 1/72 version is a scaled down 1/35?

Take good care,

Frank

Have we any word on when it'll be out?  I'm definitely going to get one, even though I haven't gotten the GoGo bird yet!

New Chinook kit on the way!!!!!!!!

Hi gang!!!

It's been awile sence my last post.

I'm happy to say I am doing very well sence my ordeal with cancer a year ago.   I just hope my health holds out. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers ok.

Now about this new Chinook kit,  I came across some pix of Italeri's new 1/48 CH-47D.   From the looks of it there will be several decal options.   U.S. ARMY, RAF, RAAF, CAF and Italy.

No pics of the kit  were shown just the box art which is of a HC1 of the RAF.

Ive seen pix of the parts layouts of there 1/48 ACH-47 GoGo Bird that they released last year and it looks really nicely done.  Looks like MRC had a hand in it becouse it remindes me of there 1/48 CH-46 Frog kits detales.

Well take care and happy modeling
