UH-1B/D/F/P/H Main Rotor Head Details
Posted by Melgyver on Sunday, May 27, 2007 5:34 PM

Since there is a lot of interest in the Panda UH-1D/H lately I have a few pictures of a UH-1H Rotor Head showing the different shades of gray and the orientation of the Hydralic dampers and control tubes.  The one obvious difference between the C besides the 540 rotor system is the orientation of the dampers and attachment of the control tube to the stabalizer bar.  The MRC/Academy plyon assy and stab bar are the perfect replacement for the Panda kit's assy.  The drawing is of a Bell 204 but is identical for the B, and for the D, F, H, P except for the counter weights on the blade grips.

I recently "rebuilt" the M/R head on my old Revell kit from 1972.  It had very little detail and now looks a "tad" better.
