Hi,
here's one that I started in 2005 and finished today. I started it at the end of 2005 and then I was overseas for the first 4 months of 2006. When I came back it was all packed up as I was emigrating to Canada. I next saw it in August last year and it had fared reasonably well, just a few bits were missing - until my other half dropped it down the stairs. After that there was cracks, holes and a lot of damage. When I recovered from that I basically dismantled it and started again with lots of filler and hassles. Some small items had disappeared and some of the bigger parts wouldn't line up any more. Needless to say it was problematic and to be honest after so much trouble my heart wasn't really in it. I know there are lots of things that aren't quite right, but after the damage I had to repair, it was never going to be quite right again. I rushed it a bit at the end, just to get it out of the way.
The kit is the Matchbox 1/72. The decals are from 7Sqn, Britfroleb (British Forces Lebanon) 1984. Should have done it as 'The Survivor' from the Falklands, but couldn't resist the big Union Jacks.
