Shock [:O]Gulp!!!

No kidding, a Mojave !!     This will pretty much close the circle on modeled classical Army helicopters, will it not?     48th scale would be awesome, and maybe possible if the 72nd version goes over well, but either way, it will sure be a welcome addition to my collection! Dinner [dinner]

Hey, I came across a picture the other day while surfing, and I instantly thought of you!    Here it is...

Thanks for the heads-up,

Take care,

Frank

I don't know why? Whistling [:-^]

Thanks Frank!! I've got well over 1000 pictures of fire bombers and that's the first time I've seen that one!

You better believe it's in my collection now!!Make a Toast [#toast]

I don't know why?

What I meant was, if an injection kit of the Mojave is made, then each of the early sixties examples of US Army helicopters will be available in kit form. I've seen the vacuformed Mojave, and been tempted a few times to obtain it, but kept holding out for an injection kit. Thumbs Up [tup]

Glad you liked the C-119 firebomber! I can't imagine what it would sound like inside the Boxcar, while diving in at such a steep angle like that! Amazing!

Take care,
Frank

I'll buy one.  I bought a 1/72 CH-53E (Years before Academy made one in 48th) and a 1/72 UH-34 (couldn't get the 48th Revell).  Therefore a 1/72 CH-37 will fit in my collection well.

Chris

OK! Including myself, there is going to be a frenzy for that H-37 when it comes out. I really hope it's not another BLUE-BALL. I've been wanting this one for years and always heard so and so is going to make it, but never any results. I even looked for that vaccu formed kit and was going to try it with a load of luck, but never could find it.

I looked back at the link in the first post in this thread, and see that it was updated 8/20/07.  The 1/72 CH-37 is there, but in text at the bottom is listed also a 1/48 H-21.  I am mostly happy about the CH-37, but the H-21 is nice to see in 1/48.  What a deal!

I recently reworked the CH-37 pictures on my website, rescanned and enlarged a bunch of them, and also added some from HMH-461 at New River sent to me by John Schroeder.  Included are a couple of photos of CH-37's on escort carriers.  Neat photos, I hadn't seen any of them on escort carriers before.  Here's the link:

Hey John. Are you documenting your Tamiya/Matchbox conversion? If so I sure would like to see it.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, I am Randie.  I've been working on other group builds, but I am just about done with casting some new gear doors for it.  I got hung up on that, The A-1E is just a lot different than any other A-1, and none of my other kits had anything close in shape, and that includes Tamiya, ESCI, and Monogram of different versions.
