Thanks guys, that's just a coat of Future to put the decals on, then I'll spray it with Dullcoat. Unless the AB comes soon I'll be brushing my B339 Buffalo too.

Hi Ben,

Looking good mate. Can't wait to see it all finished. Glad to see another brush painter out there.

Hey Ben. It don't look that bad. The way you were describing it I expected to see one continuous brush streak.

Get the decals on and apply a coat of dullcoat and it might turn out just right.

Good luck! Once i get around to finding my camera I'll post pictures...beware though, that this was my first heli in a while, and i didn't put on decals....Some cool new plane kits sidetracked me from helis. I brush painted this, my 1st airbrush is on its way. This was also my first sime with Future so i brushed a few coats on, which explains the shine, finished with Model Master Ultra Gloss Coat...Just a few problems...This may have just been my kit, i hope other ones aren't like this too! -The overall fit between the two fuselage sections was BAD. The rotor assembly went together very nicely. This was the first time I've ever had to perform surgery on a model with my Dremel. I had to cut and modify a whole bulkhead and firewall to get the interior to fit between the two fuselage pieces. The rear landing gear go in nice, but sadly I'll be hanging my model from the ceiling because the front landing gear just aren't strong enough to support the model and there very thin. The last problem...The cockpit wouldn't attach very nicely to the troop compartment. More Dremel surgery...Everything else fit nice though, just be careful and watch the instructions because i put a few things backwards. I had to blackout the windows because super glue gets that white crap on clear parts. Maybe it's time to try clear parts cement Angry [:(!]  -But don't let that review discourage you...If you're good at fixing problematic kits, you should have lots of fun. I'll post pics as soon as i find that camera!

hi Ben,

Got this from the Italeri site.

http://www.italeri.com/product.aspx?item=1267S

Just noticed that you've completed your model of the above. Any chance you could post some pics yourself. I plan on using mine to build an RAF Whirlwind. There's a guy on Ebay that sells the nose conversion, so I'll need one  of those, and then I'll have to work out how to fit it!!!

All the best,

Rich
