Joseph is right and was talking about the Navy scheme as well.  That era it was a grey color that looked green or blue in some lights.

I'm assuming you're meaning the overall color of the helicopter fuselage.  You need FS16081 Navy Gray for that Navy color scheme.  In real life it's a gray that has a greenish blush to it in certain lighting conditions.  Testors has this color in both its enamel and acrylic lines.

If its a simple overall green USMC bird, it should be 34097.

I have a older Italeri UH-1N Twin Huey.  I want to paint it fo the U.S Navy USS Tarawa 1990  the instructions call for a Flat Green MM 1571  I contacted Testors and they say they don't have a match I got a Testors small 1/4 oz jar of flat green and they said it was not the same OK helo guys any one have a clue? Thanks in advance J
