Seminar UH-1B engine
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, August 25, 2007 6:34 PM

Sorry, another Huey post I'm afraid!

As my Seminar 1/35th UH-1B for my diorama isn't going to be here for a while and I want to get as much research done as I can before getting down to the fun stuff does

a) anybody know which engine the kit comes with (I assume it will be a T53-L-5 , 9A or 11)

and

b) can anybody point my in the direction of a good photo of the correct engine as I'm planning to do some extra detailing on it ('cos I'm anal like that) and show it with the engine cover removed. I have a fairly good shot of an L-5 but the only other pics I can find are of the 13, and to be honest I'm not sure what the external differences were between the 5, 9A and 11.

Don't want much, do I Whistling [:-^]

As I mentioned in passing on a different thread there are likely to be some parts left over from the Seminar kit as I'm building the 1B as 'crashed' (the diorama is based on the recovery of the surviving crew of an 121st AHC 1B that was shot down by small arms fire taking off from an LZ in 1966) so email me if there are any parts that might be of use and if I don't use them I'll put them aside (the miniguns are already spoken for)

Thanks

Nig
