Yep!! Kit #058. Just checked Italeri and MRCs sites and they are listed.

I think I know where I can get you a 1/72nd model of the Commanche if you're interested.

My favorite copter was the H-43 Pedro.  It wasn't a smooth ride but it got the job done.

Firebirds.  Great movie.  A very accurate portrayal of Army helicopter pilots.

If you liked that movie you would love "Home Fries"!

Italeri/Revell did a couple, one in 1/72 and one in 1/48 I believe.  They are out of production though (cancelled), just like the real thing.

You have done a really good job on your ah-64 build. I am trying to get a better look at the movie and see what the tail number is of the bird that Tommy Lee Jones flew along with Nicolas Cage. I thing the "Bag" part was cool, not sure if it really happens or not. Thank you all for the welcome and information.

Gibt es eine commanche Modelle?

Was je maßstabgetreu zeichnet, ist am gemeinsamsten in Angriffenhubschraubern ist, was ich bauen werde.

Are there any commanche modelles avalible? That is my favorite helicopter and would very much like to have one to display at mien haus. Vielen vielen Dank!

The Apaches in "Fire Birds" were AH-64As.  In 1/48, the Hasegawa AH-64A is the best.  In 1/32, Revell's is a pretty good early A model.  Not sure about 1/72, but I think it is Hasegawa's again.

As a side not, it was a decent movie, but you had to totally detach yourself from reality to believe it.  It was not really accurate in any way.

Good luck.

Hi.

I am a new modeler, my intrest is WWII subject and military helicopters. My favorite helicopter is the apache and I hope to get to build a few. I would like to build an Apache from the movie Fire Birds. That is my all time favorite movie and I couldn't wait to go see it!
