I never knew that!!! I always thought they were two seperate doors as in the kit.

Good stuff any time you complete a project.  Photos could be better but I have the same kit and it's remained in the box for more than a year now.

Agreed on the roror blade positioning. As each blade crosses the fuselage it should be equidistant from the blades on the opposite rotor mast.

 Color is NOT black but dark Army Olive.  I worked at the Boeing plane outside Philly that makes these.  Same with SOF Blackhawks.  The surface is like sandpaper and only remains pristine for a few days.  Once in the field it shows the effect of everything that touches it

 Overall nice job and keep on going!

Two things that jump out are the rear cargo door & the position of the rotors.

On the CH-47, the rear cargo door slides into the ramp. Its not attached to the actual airframe at all.

As for the rotor blades, they are not that close together when over the fuselage.

Other than that, it looks good.  Unless your sister-in-law is a chinook mechanic or pilot, I'd doubt she'd notice anything I mentioned.

Agree on the focus thing!

BUT from what I can see it is Italeri's or Revell's (which is the same thing) MH-47E. In this case it should have been painted overall black (like all SOAR helos) even if the instructions say olive drab.

You'll say: but the decals are black! Yes, that's why Cobra Company made a 1/72 SOAR OD decal sheet.

Besides that I can't say anything about the build because of the focus ... did we already say that?  

You need to sort out the focus on your camera, mate. I can't make much of a comment on the model because I can barely see it!

Might want to try looking for a 'macro' setting.

NTM
