Steve,

 

I got your email and replied.  Not sure if you received it o.k.

No high skid conversions.  Use the runners from your kit.  Just try and match the runner diameter as close as possible to your skid diameter.  I've done it for a 1/22 BO-105 medical version back in the early 90's.  It worked great.  I'll be doing it again for another 1/32 BO-105.

 

FYI.  Here's a look at the new 1/32 BK-117.  The interior is long awaited for and a big improvement.

Bk-117 High skids?

Hi

 Probably quiet a rareity however does anyone know if any BK-117 kits have the option for high skids?  I am modeling a police chopper which has FLIR, nightsun etc underneath and to be curate I need to model the skids which are higher than standard.

 Any ideas?
