Thanks, this gives me a nice start. Any service is fine including USCG, NG etc. I'm going to do a National Guard UH-60 with field applied fire markings at some point as well.

I'm just looking for something different than the standard OD or grey low vis schemes.

I work in emergency services and build a lot of emergency equipment so the SAR stuff fits right in since the history of military and civilian SAR is closely related.

At one time I had thought about building the various helicopters that have been used for rescues in the National Parks but photos are hard to come by. The first helicopter medivac in Yosemite was made by a Hiller 12 (I believe it was civilian owned). The first use of a helicopter for rescue in the Grand Canyon was a US Army H-21 from Ft Huachuca, AZ. The Navy flew many missions into Yosemite from Lemoore NAS (I'll be doing one of their UH-1N's with the Fireball decal set).

Army National Guard aircraft followed Army reg's except the stae ID would be added above the tail number(ie: CO-NG, AZ-NG) and the addition of the Army Guard emblem on the sides(usually the front doors) and somtimes on the bottom
