You may have probably received an answer by now but just in case, IDF/AF AH-1 Cobras were painted in FS30099 Brown up until 1982, post Lebanon War. During the war, they received the the yellow identification V that is presently on all IDF/AF helicopters (except for the Dolphin/Panther which served later).  After the war, the Cobras (along with most of the other helicopters in the fleet) were repainted FS30145 Brown, which is a lighter shade.  As for the FS30099 color  itself, I believe it is a US standard, while the FS30145 is a locally produced paint.

As for a hobby paint match, this site lists most FS colors and hobby paint matches/mixes, as well as gives color samples;

Israeli Helo Brown color question

What color did the Israeli's use on their AH-1's during the 1982 Lebanon fighting? Is it a Federal Standard color,or one of local manufacture? What suggestions does anyone have for this? I just recieved a set of Sky Decals Israeli Helicopters markings, and have a 1/48 Fujimi AH-1S kit I will use them on.
