Hey guys, anyone saw this?

B-E-A-Utiful!, dunno if that scheme is spurious or not though... never saw a pict thou but I loved it none the less. Anyone have any more info on Japanese Apaches? Sources for the Snow Skids?

BTW the modeller also has a great CH-53E in the galleries, I'm not totally sold on the lighting of the pictures thou :S

 Anyways, hope you guys enjoy.

Nice paint scheme.  Needs some accurizing, but a nice build.

I have only seen them painted in the usual 3 tone Japanese camo. Can't say I have seen this one.. But that doesn't mean it doesn't exist..

Just noticed the skids, and so would think that it is for service in Hokkaido, and so the scheme probably isn't that far fetched.. So I will go with it being authentic..

From what I've seen, the paint scheme is authentic.  Problem is, with such a nice scheme, the modeler really sells it short by not painting the sensors, AGM-114L seeker heads, etc.  They may come as clear parts, but those are nowhere near clear on the real thing.

This person does some outstanding work, was poking around his/her website.

Looking for the CH-53E. Now I worked on them for 2.5 years on active duty, (plane captian & an Avionics Tech.) & I never saw anything sticking up out of the center console....does anyone know what that is?

Thanks,

Dave
