Here's a pic of a door gunner from a SH/HH-3A Seaking . I know it's unrelated to my current project , but I have a Revell Westland Seaking in my stash I was thinking of converting to a SH/HH-3A

There is an interior photo on page 131 of my hard copy of the USAF pub "Search and Rescue in Southeast Asia".   The book is available in PDF format off of the USAF history publications website at https://www.airforcehistory.hq.af.mil/Publications/titleindex.htm but I don't know how well the photos show up.  Very similar to the photo you posted from the airliners website, has a few floor details visible and other details that can be made out.

In addition, the Squadron in Action pub on the H-3 Seaking also contains a section on the Air Force HH/CH-3s.  No interior photos, but some nice drawings of the gun mounts for the window and ramp.

I have the old Revell kit in the stash for a future build. Just wish someone would give us a modern  1/72 or 1/48 scale kit of an HH-3!

I also haven't settled on which camouflage scheme to do . I've seen quite a few pic's on the net of both the standard SEA camouflage and the Euro 1 scheme , I like both schemes but couldn't find any 3 sided line drawings of the camouflage pattens . Lindberg's instructions say desert tan FS.30219 and olive drab FS.34087 , this never seemed right to me (originally I painted my helo, Sand and Desert Tan). I'll keep researching .

Searching for pic's for the interior of a CH/HH-3E

Hi everyone , and a happy new year . I've decided to remake an old Lindberg 1/72 scale HH-3E Jolly Green Giant helicopter . I've stripped off the paint finish and got the fuselage halves apart without too much trouble . The helicopter kit has absolutly no rear cabin detail at all , not even a rear flooring piece . Although the rear ramp can be posed open . So i've decided to cut some spare plastic for the floor (actually a plastic CD case was the perfect length I just need to cut it the right width) . I have also cut open the starboard side door to pose it open as well . I started searching the net for images of the interior of the CH/HH-3E but haven't found anything as yet . I do have some spare rear seating from an old revell westland seaking but i'm unsure of the seating arrangment . I also scrounged around the spares box for some cylic and pitch control sticks , the original kit has none . I don't want to super detail the interior that's beyond my capabilities , I just want it to look a little more busy . So I was wondering if anyone knew of any pic's out there that would help . Kind regards Helo 53
