This is the Hobby Boss offering. I was impressed at some aspects of the kit, yet disappointed at others. The kit is fairly well detailed, however I had some issues with it. - There is no "dazzler" included. There is the mount, with an open hole, but no actual IR jammer [mine was scratchbuilt from clear sprue]
- No door guns. This is what I did in the Army, so a big deal for me. [stole mine from a dragon kit]
- No flare/chaff dispenssers.
- door gunner windows and pilot door windows have very light scribing. Hard to mask off.
- "Bumps" for the nose are included, but not mentioned in the instructions. [used one anyway]
- no HIRSS
- no wire cutters
Other than all that, it is a fairly nice kit. I spent about 10 hour on this one. Overall rating...B+. I would like to see more variants in the future.
