I started checking out the rest of your site and saw the section devoted to your uncle. I noticed you had a photo of a P-47 that was taken from the right waist. I dunno if anyone's already given you the lowdown on this Jug but...
It's a P-47D-15-RE, serial 42-76204. The unit is the 360th FS of the 356th FG. The name of the ship is 'Bright Eyes' and it was flown by Lt. Charles Servocky. The aircraft was assigned to the squadron in April of '44 and was struck off charge on October 16th, '44.

I'm also looking for more info on "Hell's Belles". Any chance I could get a larger scan of the P-47? I collect images of this stuff and this would be a great addition to the collection!
