                        I would prefer to do the 1 / 48 scale. Is Academy the only game in town for 1 / 48 ?

                        I have the 1/48 Academy kit.  Fairly good, and if you can pick up a few of the build articles form Finescale and Tamiya Aircraft mags, you can really get some good scratchbuilding going and turn out a very nice model.

                        I also have 1/72 versions from Hobby Boss and Fujimi.  Both are good, though the Fujimi kit is better, IMHO.

                        We,ll I finally made a choice for my 2nd Helo build. The CH-46. Would appreciate comments from anyone that has built or in the process of building one if the kit is worth the time,effort and money and if there are any major problematic areas to a new Helo builder. Thanks to all who reply.
