                        I am a marine stationed in Okinawa Japan. I am currently with a Marine Expeditionary unit. I am in the process of building a dirorama of all the aircraft outside our hanger. well I have all the aircraft save one, the Ch-46 sea knight. i have a line on one but its the navy version and not the usmc version. i know that i could modify the navy one but i was hoping to find the usmc version. Does anyone out there know where i could get my hands on one?Evil [}:)]

                        Hello from Osaka.
                        The only kit I recall seeing is Fujimi's. Is that the Navy version you're referring to? I think they also had a Jietai version, but I'm not sure of the differences between that and the US versions.

                        yes the one by Fujimi is the navy version. i did some futher searching and also found the one you refered as the Jietai version. i have been inside the real one and it is a lot differnent so i think that i will stick with the navy version.

                        Is there much difference between the Navy and Marine versions?
                        Are the Jieitai versons purchased from the States, or made on license here, like Jieitai F-15s?

                        I believe there is a D and E model of the Fujimi kits and one of them has Marine markings.
