Easiest way to tint the "greenhouse" glass panels is with clear green paint. Tamiya and Testors make it, and I'm sure other paint makers have it, too. You can also mix a little green food coloring into Future and make a dip or spray solution.
As for the rotor colors, it depends upon the time period and the particular example you are modeling. The early rotors were OD on top and they transitioned to black on top during the late '60s. There's no hard and fast rule, though. You could paint one of them OD and the other one black if you want. Then there's the issue with white ID bands on the rotors, but don't worry too much about things like that. Since this is your first helicopter build, concentrate on modeling basics like fitting, filling, and painting. Helicopters go together a little differently than jets, and you have to work more with subassemblies. Use the Huey as a learning experience, and then the second helicopter model (and third and fourth, so on) you'll find all kinds of details to worry about :)
