I haven't built it, but my friend Chris Jones, who runs the Heli-Kit-News site has. It's made by Extratech, 1/72nd scale mixed-media, i.e. resin and etched brass throughout, so therefor a bit fiddly to construct. It is very accurate, and looks absolutely like the real thing when completed. It's ridiculously expensive, but also the ONLY VS-300 kit out there.

I don't mind fiddleing if the end result is worth it.I would of bet it was  1/48 but I would of lost that bet.. Thank you very much for reply... Have a great week and weekend...  Davey5

I found it at squadron.  Just typed in "Sikorksy" at the search.  I'd love to build one too, but it's just too much.

Speaking of the Heli-Kit News site, what has happened to it? All I get now is a "404 page not found" message in Russian!

Chris, would have been nice to have it at that one Sikorsky Worker Day huh?  I also, was there during their 75th anniversary open house and they had a lot of their old aircraft there with a lot of history story boards of how Sikorsky start designing aircraft.  I got on the Wikiencyclopedia and looked up Sikorsky and what they said does not match the employee history book they give out to their employees on their 20th year anniversary.  Especially what happened to him when he first arrived in the states and why he actually left Russia at the beginning of the Russian Revolution.  The employee book is fascinating.
