Does anyone know of a kit of for a Ka-25. After building a1/600 scale of the Moskva I got interested in building one.

Actually, I found one on Squaddron's web site.  1/72.  Maquette from Russia.  Check out http://www.squadron.com/ItemDetails.asp?item=MQ07252

AModel also makes civilian variants.  Also in 1/72.

 Hope this helps!

The best kit to get is probably the Airfix KA-25 but they are quite rare. It has seperate doors for the rear compartment. The Maquette kit is a re-mould of the Airfix kit but has some detail changes, no seperate rear door and lots of flash to clean up.

Airfix's kit is good for the Hormone-A and -C; the Maquette kit makes a superior Hormone-B (but it's best if cross-kitted with Airfix bits.) There was only one civilian KA-25, and that was the -25K, a flying crane that was an evolutionary dead-end.

Zvezda and Amodel do several variants of the KA-27/29/31 Helix, but that's a different bird altogether.
