Hi lighthorseman , I'm not sure if this is of any help but I mixed an equal part [50/50] of Gunze Sangyo H-78 [olive drab 2] with H-309 [FS34079 green] , For an Israeli UH-60A Blackhawk . It looks okay , although I have nothing to compare it to the actual U.S Helo drab color . I tried taking a pic of the model on my work bench but It didn't come out very well under inside lighting . I'll have to wait untill it's sunny outside to get a better pic .

I forgot to add that Tamiya XF-62 Olive Drab seems to be a reasonably close match to U.S Helo drab as well .

Hi, are you looking for images of an A or D model? I can get A model images from the aviation museum tomorrow if i get a normal lunch hour. D model cockpit images will take me longer because I will have to track down some friends of mine who are instructors on the flightline and ask them to open a cockpit up for me. What areas of the cockpit are you interested in? Do you need close up images of anything else on the Apache?

Charlie,

You must be at Rucker.  I'm headed that way in two weeks to do a little Huey research.  will you be around?

I work in the CRD which use to be DCD. CRD is the Combat Requirements Directorate. I will send you a PM and give you my work number and email address and we can have lunch one day while you are here if you have time.
