Revell 1/32 AH-64 Apache Questions
Posted by stikpusher on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 2:51 PM

I just picked this kit up. It looks like a simple decent build, but I would really like to upgrade it a bit. I found Verlinden's set for most of items needed, and was looking at Trumpeter's CH-47 Crew for replacement pilots. Has anyone here built this kit and do you have any other suggestions for upgrades, changes, or modifications? Oh yes, I am interested in building this one as one of the TF Normandy birds from Desert Storm. Any help on decals and/or markings for any of those birds would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for lookingMake a Toast [#toast]

It is a great kit.  Needs some wire-strike blades and some other mods, but for a Desert Storm bird, you're pretty close.  I just profiled "Rigor Mortis", then-LTC Dick Cody's bird from TF Normandy in my Apache Walkaround from Squadron. Unfortunately, there are no decals out there for this kit. I'm hoping to change that in the coming months, but right now there isn't anything available.

Don't hesitate to email me if I can be of any help.
