I have to agree with Rob. The Imex 1/35 Apaches are pretty bad. They are off on the angles around the cockpit and in the tail behind the engines. Their "D" model is very inaccurate. It is simply their "A" model kit with a few added pieces to look sort of like a "D".
The Revell 1/32 "A" model kit is great straight OOB and builds into an accurate late '80s bird. There is also a Verlinden upgrade set to dress it up as well. Jon "Cobra Historian" Bernstein has converted a couple to "D" models as well. They came out great, but took a lot of work.
I would go with (and have) the Revell model if you are looking for a good Apache. It is close enough to 1/35 to use 1/35 figures and gear with it too.
Good luck.
