I really like the job you did, very nice paint/wash.  The rotors must be balanced pretty nice if you don't have vibration issues, they look like they spin pretty fast!  Again, very impressive job.

Glad you like it. One rotor spins slightly slower than the other I think there is more friction in one engine.  The blades are heavy and it takes time to pick up RPMs, so I went for AAA batteries.

Nicely done.  Do the rotors spin in sync?  I'd like to try that sometime with one of my -22s.
A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.

Hi everyone,

Here is my Italeri V-22 Ospray in 1/48 scale that I finished some years ago.  Here are the pix:

Rotor "activator" is the refueling probe itself, at the time I didn't want anything sticking out that didn't belong in the aircraft.  Now looking back it would have been easier with a simple switch.

A test run of the props, looking good:

The pilots were not included in the kit, I got them from a spare Hind Mi-24.

Thanks for looking!
