  not usualy a copter builder but I really like the huey, this is my first helicopter, I know the marine decals are wrong but I still like it

Looks like you did a nice job on it.  Like you said though, the kit is very inaccurate in not only the decals.  It has UH-1B and C features mixed up as well.  Good job on the finish and construction.  If nothing else, it is a good representation of a Huey.  You should try your skills on some better kits to get some good-looking and accurate models.  Looks like your skills are there already.

I agree, it's a good looking build with a really nice base.  The base adds alot to the overall look of the model.  The paintwork on the weapons and the interior look great too.  I know the kit isn't the most accurate huey around, but it's a fun kit.  Your work proves that it can make a great looking display, which captures the overall look and feel of a huey.
