Count me in with a 1/48 Academy CH-46A/D Sea Knight, but I don't think I'll be done before December 20.  I'd still like to hang in with the GB, if nobody minds.

Chris

I am in for a Revell AG Sea King Mk 41 in Deutsche Marineflieger markings in 1/72nd scale to be built out of the box.

Cheers, Matt

Oh, I plan to participate, I'll be doing a 1/72 scale Italeri RAH-66 Commanche.

I just got the kit the other day, since the Army killed the program who knows how long the kit will stick around. Looks like a nice easy build too.

Hell cat man here is a typical format, feel free to steel it, edit it it and re-post it (that's what I did). Once you have it all together remember to start a post in the GB section.

The rules for this GB are as follows:

4.  Civilian, military, prototypes, and what ifs are allowed.

5.  Progress pics, research, history, trivia etc (yes, no to any all, basically how "busy" do you want the build)

6. Kits started before the GB are ok, up to 50% complete. Crossover builds are permitted.

Here are some ground rules: can be started but nothing over 50% completed, doesn't have to be out of the box, Civilian, military, prototypes, and what ifs are allowed. Crossovers are ok with me.And doesnt have to be historicaly accurate

Ground rules?  You know, AM or OOB, started or not, crossovers, real or what-if, etc.?  You could check other GB's for samples.

Ok gentlemen. The Group build will start on the 20th of JUly and run for 5 months till December 20th. The original GB badge was disigned to show the most known helicopter in both military markings and civilian markings.

I was going to start an Academy Tree Phrog (CH-46A/D "US Marines - Vietnam").  It's going to take me a very long time.  I'd be interested in a GB.  I'm working on a howitzer right now, but the phrog is up next.

If this pushes through, Im joining with either a KA-50 Kamov or a UH-1N in 1/72 (Italeri). Im currently doing an Italeri AH-64A Apache and an Academy AH-64D Longbow.

Although more of a fixed wing and armor builder, I do have a few helo's in my stash.  If more are willing to have go, sign me up for a Revell AG Sea King Mk 41 in Deutsche Marineflieger markings.  Happy Modelling!

Cheers, Matt

For some reason helicopter GBs haven't been very popular here. If you can round up a couple of others I'll participate just on the principle of having a helicopter GB for a change.

The badge is nice but rather huey focused, if its going to be a general helicopter GB it would be nice to see more variety.

Personally I lean towards the weird and colorful like this. Smile [:)]
