I'd google a bit and shop around for the ammo... Regarding the tank's action, tankers don't replenish ammo in the midst of a fight.  If a tank's ammo is gone, it'll run away or go into turret defilade, not call for ammo from a wingman.  Ammo is replenished by the tank battalion's ammo-dawgs at the ASP (Ammunition Supply Point) in the rear.  The ammo-dawgs will drop off a basic load for each tank and the crew will load it.

thanks for the info, I meant having the .50 gunner throwing a new box into his tray. Now I just gotta see who ships to APO.

thanks!

I wasn't sure where to post my question, but I figured dioramas would be best since they are accessories for dioramas.

I am trying to build my first diorama using an M4A3E8 sherman in the midst of a fight. I have the hatch open, and plan on having a gunner either reaching for an ammunition case from within the turret, or having a GI on the outside of the tank reloading... however I need accessories for the tank to make it look like she is the midst of battle.

what is the best place to get ahold of 1/35 50 cal shells, belt ammo and also ammunition boxes?

thanks, and I am sure to have more questions about building the base and setting up snow and frozen puddles and such.
