Yard sale find need help with info
Posted by jay12472 on Thursday, August 21, 2008 5:50 PM

Hello I found this at a yardsale and picked it up.  It is made of a foam(kinda like greatstuff), it looks to me that it should be an Atlantic wall bunker. Let me know what you think

In the last pic is a yard stick to give an idea of how big this is!

Thanks Jason

The Hobby Bunkerhas this for sale at $125.00 and describes it as "D-Day Bunker System L53''x D14''x H7'' manufactred by Classic Toy Soldiers "

Curious...How good a deal did you get on it? I hope seseing the retail price made you happy.

54mm, so 1/32nd. Close enough I think.\

A very good "score". Looks to be in nice condition. I like finding models in thrift stores and yard sales as well. Great deals there.

Yes, endless diorama possibilities there.  I straightaway heard Tom Hanks telling the guy with the flamethrower, "BURN IT !"

Looks cool but I'm not sure the Dragon's teeth are accurate in their placement...

It was still in box filled with packing peanuts.

Manny , I agree with the teeth.

You can probably cut those dragon's teeth-things off and fill the space with something -- Celluclay, maybe? -- maybe even reuse them, if they're true-to-scale.

Excellent find, but I would never have room enough for it!
