Photographing within the diorama

Some years ago I saw a device used to photograph architectural models from within the model giving one a view as if you were in the model itself, it was a pair of prisims within a tube that had legs for placement in the model and an attachment at the top for a camera. has anyone seen this tool ? I've searched the ionternet without any luck, has any of you seen this tool ? Thanks. Karl
