"Russian Tank Crew At Rest"

Nothing new in the scene, it's an old tank and old figures from Tamiya.

Diorama "Russian Tank Crew At Rest" using Tamiya's T-34/76 and Tamiya's Russian Tank Crew At Rest:

Are the figures all out of the box, or were there any modifications?

They look all OOB to me, I was looking at my set the other day debating wether or not to use it for a dio I'm working on. Not a bad dio, the T34 looks oob and doesn't look to bad either, faces could use a little work though.

Maybe it is just me, but it seems that T-34s always have logs atached to them?Whistling [:-^]

Overall pretty well executed, but 2 nitpicks....the T-34's top hatch has three ejector pin marks that were missed, and the second is the snow looks a tad funny to me....a bit too grainy. But for the most part it looks pretty decent!

They're "self-recovery" logs... Pretty common on Soviet tracks... Tankers use the logs along with cables/chains to recover a tank that's high-centered itself on an obstacle or something similar, like tree stumps & boulders...

JMHO, but the infantryman looks bit underdressed for the weather...

Many thanks for all kind feedbacks! I think all figures were built OOTB because A.I. doesn't like modification or complex job - like multimedia kits. It's him who suggested me to let his big brother "Toom" to build Tamiya's Steyr type1500A/01 that comes with PE Grille Set & VP's Steyr Radio & Command upgrade set, because his brother likes building complex kits while he himself doesn't. (Toom has finished it, I'll show soon after this, and now he's working on Panzer III N the so-called Hi-Tech kit from Gunze Sankyo).

Many thanks for your kind comments, Vector123! I agree that some part of the snow looks grainy because it's made of salt. The snowman idea is good, I'll pass on to my modeler. BTW, I'll post his new dio shortly in a few hours' time...

Sort of like the "Unditching Beams" carried on early German AFVs.
