thanks a lot for the link I must have spelt something wrong I like this one. http://www.bellabs.ru/30-35/Photos/Karl_Kubinka_01.jpg I would like to do a field scene nothing crazy just a bumpy field and green to show off the steely blue color. Do you guys think this is to small to add a bit of weathering? I would like to add a bit of rust to the tracks and age it a bit so it looks more realistic. I appreciate the help guys thanks

Here you go just click on this http://images.google.com/images?q=morser%20karl&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=ie7&rlz=1I7ADBR_en&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi and you should be able to find a few good pics and sites to give you some ideas.

Looking foward to seeing your finished build and welcome to the forums.

Welcome to the forum and back to modeling.

I just got back into it recently as well.

Shepherd Paine has a really go book on dioramas that covers just about everything.

While I'm not familar with your build subject but after a quick google search there are a few picture references out there.

I would suggest asking for information in the Armor section of the forum, those guy's really know their stuff.

Looking forward to seeing your progress on this poject.

Cheers

ok guys I havent built a model in 20 years and I never built anything that great typical kid type stuff. Well I went to an IPMS meeting and I am hooked I bought a 1:144 scale Morser Karl-Gerat 040 to hold me over till my 1:350 scale USS BUCHANAN can get here I got the photo etch upgrade for it and might buy the other PE set for it to pick the best pieces for it. The Morser is pretty small but I would like to make a diorama nothing fancy to start just a base for it to sit on. I cant seem to find any pics of it so at a loss there. I am not looking for it to be 100% accurate just a nice little piece of work. I want to do more armor later as well and prefer them to look distressed a bit. any advice is appreciated I am picking up the diorama book soon.
