Check out the figures from Bravo 6. The US figures are based on the characters in PLATOON. They are available on-line at Military Miniatures Warehouse, Colorado Minaitures and The Red Lancer.

depends on what your looking for is it plastic or resin or both? mm is correct dragon makes a few plastic vietnam figures. verlinden and many of the resin figure makers make alot of vietnam resin figures. the base should be made after you have a good idea of what it is your trying to achieve...especially the "story" your trying to tell. meaning the base could be foam, styrofoam, a simple vingette, wood, plywood....blah blah blah! no offense (because im not trying to be a jerk....seriously) but asking this question is like saying to those here that you have a million dollars in the bank...how can i withdrawl it?? Well, for American troops, I would recommend Dragon's 1/35 scale Marines at Khe Shun set, I like it!

I hope that it helps, Jim

I am planning to make a diorama of the vietnam war. I already have vietnam infantry specifically Dragon's 1/35 scale NVA sapper team. For the side of the US I already have a 1/35 scale M151A1 light utility truck from Academy. So i guess what i need is the base for the diorama and some US troops from the Vietnam era.

Do you guys have any suggestions???????   Any would help.
