What is the best way to simulate grass for a 1/32 P-47D. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

Poke around here and here for some really good stuff. One caveat, lay some sort of ground work, Celluclay, spackle, anything to give the base a slightly uneven feel. Placing "grass" directly on a base looks most unrealistic. All natural surfaces have at least some irregualrities and having an airplane, its support vehicles and crew tramping about will increase this.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

So far I have a base of Celluclay...while that was wet I sifted some dirt as an additional "base color." I want it to have the irregularities. I look at railroad "grass" but it doesn't look "to scale" with a plane as big as this one.
