Many thanks for your kind compliments on the dio! I really appreciate them. I got a comment on this dio from a local site which shows a historic picture, and I want to translate it for you:
A comment from a fellow modeler named "GIJod" - a walking encyclopaedia on German militaria:
"It's a diorama that touchs my heart the most, like they say 'little but much', the composition is beautiful and about right...
- The lamp post which is tall and bowing, black and lonely, is like the Aryan people who are proud and arrogant, but have to bow to the winner - Russian soldiers in lowly jeep.
- Russian woman waving flags facilitating convenience is like a pin piercing the heart, thinking of when she stood in front of the Brandenburg Victory Gate. Just an ordinary country woman whose husband died in the battlefield, she came back to manage everything to be under her super-power flags which can order left or right, where the backdrop is an Aryan lamp post.
- The clear and barren street which has only pattern of rock on the ground represents the prisoners of war flocking in pack, being treaded on as losers.
- The round main column once powerful now broken in half represents great, strong and solid power that was toppled and crumbled, not different from an excess fuel drum.
It's a scene that impresses me the most, brother MM, my sincere applause."
