Yes, PTO is the 'Pacific Theatre of Operations'.

By the way, I did fail to say (and I apologize) that I do really like the layout of this.  AI's choice to add the terrain feature really does add some intensity to the scene.

"Bloody Atoll" could be referring to a myriad of battlesites in the Pacific. Well done and thanks for bringing the PTO in the mix.

not even iwo jima....iwo jima really was pretty much devoid of plant life, especially after the naval shellings. but i like it. that guy swinging his rifle back looks pretty good

I like this.  Nice work.

My one comment would be that the title implies that this is set at Tarawa, however the terrain doesn't look quite right for Tarawa... too rocky....
