the base is a bit small for that. it's odd, tho. i put a 72nd Panther next to the house and it looked too small in comparison

It MAY be possible if you do a forced perspective diorama [a closed box with limited viewing angle].   The larger subject is placed nearest the viewer,  the smaller tank in the middle distance, and the smallest house in the rear gives an imperssion of distance.

Few that I've seen look effective.   Most of the others look to be toy-like

atleast for now it'll pass as a really poor peasants house until something more suitable comes along, which i sent miniart an email about and whose reply seemed positive

Dear Sir,

thank You very much for your e-mail and for the interest to our models. We know that scale 1:48 becomes popular that is why we think over your suggetion to make the dioramas in this scale.

best regards,

Svetlana Ducbhak

I agree, the scale difference would be too big.

Thanks, Jim

If you want the house to look like a midget house or a kids playhouse, sure.  Otherwise no, the scale difference is too great.

No, the size difference is too great to use a 1/72 house in a dio with 1/48 armor / figures.

picked up Pegasus Hobbies ukrainian house 2 as it appeared it might be suitable for a simple dio consisting of 2 tanks and a few German infantry setup to storm a house which they suspect russian tankers may be hiding in. granted it's one the small side for a 1:48 dio, but pesants really weren't all that tall. the tanks are a Pz IV H and a kv1. now, i know what you're thinkin, there's no tamiya IV H. well, a little search thru the scrap parts box i came up with parts to put together an aux turret motor muffler and a slight alteration to the turret roof. may not be totally accurate, but it'll suffice.
