yeah, thing is, tho, companies like gas.o.line are largely net based, in that you're not likely to find them in a LHS as you would miniart. i would hope atleast a few would email miniart to let them know there's a demand for what they have in onefortyeight

~    I don't kow about this, but I did notice something in the new Model Military International that promted me to write the editor

Dear Brett,    I am a California modelbuilder, subscriber, and happy reader of MMI magazine and although I can hardley imagine I am the first to notice this I felt I should ask you about it.  On page 54 of the new issue (41) 1/48 scale round-up is a review of the new Gaso-Line DIO48011 - Street and Ruined Building, but I was sure I'd seen it before, as it is very obviously a scaled-down model of Mini-Art's #36001 Street w/ Ruined House (1/35 scale)  , but there is no mention of this at all. Is it pirated? Does Mini-Art not want/need credit ? In any case, I'm sure your readers would like to know they have a choice of scales for this useful item that I am intimately familiar with, as I used it recently for my Diorama " In Russian Hands "            In any case......

Thank you for all the fantastic articles, and for producing the best scale model magazine imaginable.........All The Best...........

10 Days ago -  no response at all yet. Maybe I have to wait to see it in print. Seem like fair questions to me.

in a reply, posted elsewhere here, miniart indicated a possible interest in doing 1:48 diorama kits. i'm thinking that if they get other email expressing an interest, they'll actually release something. it wouldn't be good to send a "form letter", or a mass emailing, so something in your own words should suffice. hopefully miniart'll take "us" seriously. one LHS i know of won't be able to keep them on their shelves. prolly won't take much in the way of resizing their existing kits either
