Cheers guys,Hammer you are certainly up on your German ,great stuff made me chuckle. I did put some snow on the tank but as this is very fine strands it looked false on the tank but looks fine on the foliage so i removed it. I like the sound of running out of fuel as i didnt want to alter the tank as it may leave this dio in the future and end up on another resting place. This is all stuff already built but just put together to create a scene. The mesh on the helmets is in the cast of the resin so is as, but is not hard to recreate with very fine fuse wire. Thanks all for your coments and i will try and take some pics in daylight as it looks better than in false light.

Well, running out of gas could be the reason why the crew un-azzed it... Patton's 3rd Army had major fuel problems when Monty got the bulk of supplies for Market-Garden..

Andy, another amazing diorama! Thumbs Up [tup] I remember the old look of the diorama when you had German half track on last time and it was in the fall.  Maybe spring diorama will be next with flowers?

Two things... first, I really like the netting on some helmets.  How did you do those?  Second, will the Sherman have some kind of battle damages so the American tank crew had to abandon?

Oh well... It was fun anyway...

Great work, Bodge.. As usual, your foliage work is above and beyond, not to mention your cobblestones...

Only one suggestion, that being that since there's snow of the folage and surrounding groundwork, perhaps some snow on the tank is in order, just to give the impression that it's been there a while and the fighting has moved on...
