That's a very nice looking dio m8, but i don't think Mp-40's were in use at the time, i think the Gemans were using Mp-34's in 1939, again good job overallThumbs Up [tup]

I really like this one, the grass looks great, the scale of the tank in relation to the figures is nice, it's a good thing they're there, otherwise I'd think this guy was larger.

The only thing, and this is just the slightest nit pick, if it were me (and it's not so don't feel as though I'm telling you what to do, just throwing an idea out too late) and the figures weren't beyond removal, I would switch them, have the lead German looking over the gate as if checking behind the wall, and have the rear German up front, looking up as if over the wall skyward, I just feel like the hight difference of the wall and gate would make a little more sense with the figures that way. But it really does look great now. Great little scene Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] I think it's a fair amount of stowage, not too overpowering to take away from the figs behind it.

Looks great waterboy! I really like the addition of figs, to add the sense of scale and added realizm. Nice paint work/ base work.

Nice looking dio! Thumbs Up [tup]

How can you say stowage is inapropriate in Poland based on the pictures you have seen? There were thousands of tanks in the invasion. Not all are photographed, not all are photographed every hour..   Who know? Those supplies may have been something that was just going some few miles down the road...

I never said I have seen ALL of the pictures of every vehicle on the campaign.  However, based on the huge number that I have seen, stowage on German vehicle was EXTREMELY rare during this campaign.  There are a few, that is why I said I had not seen many.  I am not trying to "subdue someone's creativity" as mentioned in another post.  Just a comment based on my OPINION (just like yours is).  Lets not hijack this post and take credit away from this nice little scene.

I like this.  Simple, straightforward, and nicely executed.

Congrats,

Nice simple scene. I kinda like it. I would have left off the stowage though, not many pictures of Polish campaign vehicles with stowage on them.

Ditto, I like the scene, but the stowage would most likely not have been there in war time, yet I like the look of it though, so I suppose that you could call it artistic representation......

I'm calling this one done. German 35T and a squad of infantry on the first day of the invasion of Poland in 1939. The tank is from CMK. The figures are from masterbox and the wall is an old custom dio piece Thanks for looking. let me know what you think?
