Well, maybe it's a language barrier. I just meant that he's one of the modelers who works for me. I'm not a shop owner and I've never sold any built kits. I've never set any timeframe for building, it all depends on each builder. Apart from Joh and Art Instructor, there are three more modelers working for me. And here's what they are building:

"Toom" (Art Instructor's big brother):
- Tamiya's IJN Battleship "Yamato" 1:350 w/ 3 sheets of local-made PE upgrade sets
------

"Niphon":
- Hasegawa's IJN Battleship "Mutsu" 1:350 w/ full option PE/brass upgrade kits
------

"Tazmanian":
- Trumpeter's Tu-160 1:72
- Tamiya's T-34/76 + Aires' VT-34 Recovery Vehicle Conversion Set 1:35
- Academy's OH-58D Kiowa Warrior 1:35
- Tamiya's Japanese WWII Battleship "Musashi" 1:350 w/ local made PE parts (3 sheets)
- Revell's SMS Emden 1:350
- ICM's Markgraft Battleship 1:350
- Trumpeter's Me-262 A-1a Heavy Armament 1:32
- Trumpeter's Russian Cruiser Admiral Lazarev (Ex Frunze) 1:350 w/ PE upgrade sets from Lion Roar
-------

To show you some figures, my purchase record has registered 191 Sea models, 449 Air models
and 2,238 Land models. What do I do with these many models? This page  shows what it looked like two years ago. Next month my showroom will be 4 years old and I think I'll update this page:

He is simply a collector and "hires" these guys to build models for him.  They are more like endentured servents since most of them owe him money or something and he has them build lots of models really quickly and usually to mediocre standards.  He collects lots of so-so models and displays them at his house and on a website.  He also comes on here and shows off "his" models and expects everyone to go "ooohhh" and "aaahhh" over them and tell him how great they are.  Most people have learned to just ignore his posts, hence usually not many replies.

We may have a minor language barrier. What do you mean...."he is one of my  modelers"? Most people I know do not possess modelers. My boss might say that, guess. I work in a model shop, so he might put it that way. Are you a shop owner? Are Joh & Art instructer employes? And yes, that is quite a lot of figure projects in the amount of time---are you selling them someplace?   Honestly M.M., being one of the few to comment on your posts, I will say that although I like the kits, I would advise spending more time on them, and adding more careful detail painting, layers, and avoiding improper sheen...in short, they could be better. They are sound, but to my eye a bit hurried. You have gotten some pretty good results, but what is your real goal in this?

This civilian figure is resin from Verlinden productions, made in the U.S.A. Last night I put a few hours into just the head, which as you could see in previous post had already been basecoated & colorwashed. He still isn't finnished, but close. There are many better painters that take far greater time and care than me, so it's all relative. I just prefer better work, and try to keep working towards it.....................

You're welcome, INDY! Joh is not my student, he's one of my modelers. I let him build figure-based vignettes. Now he's working on:

- Diorama "Barbarossa" using ICM's Barbarossa Operation
- Diorama "Hunting the Partisan" using Dragon's figure set of the same name
- Diorama "The Green Berets" using Dragon's Green Berets
- Figures "German Sturmpioneers" using Zvezda's figure set(6)
- Figures "Waffen SS & SS Infantry using VP's figures(2)

If you think those are many, look at what my main modeler "Art Instructor" has been building at once:

- Trumpeter's LAV-M
- SKIF's T-55 C2 Czech Training Tank
- Zvezda's Mercedes L4500S
- Dragon's Panzer I Ausf.B
- Hobby Boss' German Land-Wasser-Schleppe (LWS)
- Tamiya's German Mounted Infantry
- VP's US Willy Jeep Crew
- VP's German WWII Tank Crew (Early)
- Diorama "Motorcycle Repair" using Master Box's German Motorcycle Repair Crew

He usually finishes these many in a few weeks time despite having main job as school art teacher. I expect them to be finished soon.

I've got the Citroen Traction too, but not with the figure you showed. Where did you get that figure? I think mine will be built as German armor since the figure provided with the kit is a German driver.

Thanks so much for your kind compliments, INDY! I've seen some of your recent works, they're very nice works.

Joh is now working on 4-5 figure sets, some will be built as vignettes while some will be built as individual figures. What are you working on now?

Very nice stuff. You are definately having fun with 'just figures'. I like doing them too. You can see a few of mine in recent forum posts here.

 I really liked this

Convincing image.

I like the winter sniper team in the front shot as well. Good job Joh !
