Any idea what Celuclay is called in Europe?

Thanks,

Dermot

It's called "Celluclay" everywhere.  It's a brand-name for instant papier mache (both grey & white) made by Activa.  There are other brands of instant papier mache',  Amaco "Claycrete" is another brand.. Same as Celluclay 'cept it's white instead of grey.

Like just about every country there is always a bit of English thrown in for things they don't have words for.

Most of it is in Japanese but there is always something you can pick out of it.

Thanks for the heads up on this - I had turned the sound off as I figured (wrongly)..that's Japanese, I won't get any of it.

Off to my local hardware store tomorrow to look for silicon caulking.

Thanks everyone, really can't beat the Finescale Forums.

You can get close to this with just using Celuclay.

Dremo ,That's right the stuff is used by cake decorators. I sent away to England for the stuff.

It's called Atista Soft. I have the address of the store I bought it in if you're interested.

Hey everyone,

I realise this video is in Japanese but anyone got any ideas what this guy is adding at 1" in this video?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQVp_ibAi5w&NR=1

The body of the water splash he makes with "Artisoft" (shown in the previous video) which i think is used by cake decorators.

Cool diorama by the way!
