Tom Clancy Dio Ideas
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, December 21, 2003 10:22 AM
If you've ever read any of Clancy's books, they are a great source of Dio ideas. Without Remorse has a great POW camp scenario. Clear and Present Danger has Pave Low III stuff.

I am a big clancy fan and I just finished his latest, Teeth of the Tiger. Unfortunately it is quite the boring book. No dio ideas coming out of that one.

you think his books give you good ideas, get the game Rainbow 6 (any of the RB6 games) or SplinterCell (might I add one of the best, cant wait for Pandora tomorrow) and play them out, I have got so many awsome ideas from them. I really want to do Sam Fisher doing a split jump from SC in the Jail house. no clue what im talking about, I'll explain more if you ask.

PS> I never actually finished very much of redstorm rising, is it really that good???

Personally, I think that the Book "Firefox down" has some stunning Dio ideas in it.

Pity they never made it into a movie as I consider it way superior to "Firefox".
Sad [:(]

Don't forget the mid-east scene where the bad guy gets thier head removed in "The Sum of all Fears" by the "Breeze of Evening". I love it when it happens to the bad guys!

Red Phoenix by Larry Bond depicts a North Korean invasion of the South. Lots of ideas there and it is a fine book.

LOL Jon. That would be a good Dio. You could make a shadow box with Tom on a stool in front of a vault with piles of money laying on the floor.

I am sorry. He has so much money he would have other people counting the money. Here is the corrected diorama a shadow box with workers counting the money and Tom on a lounge chair giving directions.
