Alittle update here, I've try and experiment , which grass wwas better. Usually I use woodland scenic static grass, but I wanted to compare it to a grass carpet, the result is obvious that the static grass won since it is much more realistique even it it take long to place.

Reminded me of my father-in-law, who once told me that european railways steam engines came in two types- pressurized tube or pressurized boiler, and there was only one good way to find out which was which... of course he had four 20mms.

One thing I've noticed in pictures of targets is that they actually get really torn up, plus whatever resultant damage that causes to occur; say that little tooner threw a rod. He had a series of pictures of a single hit he took from a cannon on the ground, probably a 20, which tore a big hole the size of a volleyball through the nose.

I think that by August 44 your Jagdpanther would never be out in the open.  The Allies had air superiority and were shooting up everything they could find.

Should be interesting. I noticed a couple things you might want to work on though. First, all the shots look like they came in at a 90 degree angle to the metal. If the attack came from above and the side facing us in this picture, the holes should angle down and toward the far side.

Also, the different types of metal would take damage quite differently. I'm no expert on the types of metal used for what, but cast iron, for example, would be more brittle and thus shatter more easily than , say, sheet steel. Again, I don't know what's what, but the louvres  on the side there, it looks like they should be bent in more, or the plastic thinned or something. I like the way the piping along the top is bent where the hole is, althoughthe way it is bent upwards kind of makes it look like the round came from below.
Basically, all of this is kind of saying the same thing, but a few small changes that should be pretty easy to make would help the overall look quite a bit. I like the idea, and will follow to see how it comes along!

Remeber this build that I've finish a few months ago.

I've haven't work on it for sometime cause, well its a train, not much to look at, but if it has alittle bit of a context, them i'm in buisness.

STRAFE dio is base on the german railroads system who has been taken a beaten thought out the war by low flying fighter plane. The setting is gemany in august 1944 as a german Jaghpanther pass the destroyed train, an obel half-track tuck takes the dead conducteur of the train.

The idea is base on this box art of dragon's jaghpanther 1/72

What do you all think so far?
