Afternoon all

Thanks for the comments gents, always welcome and appreciated.

Modelmaniac, Italeri do the same buildings in both scales, I added some glass and frames to these ones just to try and add a bit of interest.

Thanks again

that looks good.

the winter schemes on the vehicles look great.

the detail is excellent, especially for 1/72.

A good start.  You've got snow on the ground, but no snow on the vehicles, buildings, equipment, etc.  If it snowed enough to cover the ground, it would have also snowed on the the vehicles and buildings.

Nice little dio! The armors and figures have good details, a far cry from what was available when I was young. I  built 1:72 diorama long time ago but later on I scaled up to 1:35. The ruined building at the right corner looks familiar, is that from Itateri? (I have them in 1:35). BTW, the walls shouldn't be there when the buildings were ruined.

Hi Mark,

I like the looks of it.  The black and white photos are great, they look like period photos.

The weathering on the vehicles is good. The snow in the road wheels and up the sides of the vehicles.  Looks very realistic to me.

There's something about the buildings though, a little too clean maybe?

All in all I think it looks great.  I wish I could do weathering like that.

Morning all

It's been a while but I've finally managed to get some pictures of the little dio a put together for one of my entries for the 1000 wheel GB. It was fortunate that we had our first snow of the winter so it was to good an opportunity to miss. This is my first 1/72 dio and I'm quite pleased with how it has turned out.

As well as the Nashorn from the 1000 wheel GB, I added an Airfix Opel Blitz, Millicast Fuel trailer, Mig figures and Italeri buildings.

Thanks for looking

Mark
