Thanks, Zokissima---the simplicity of the project was a nice break from my larger dios...I purposely angled the base so that it was only as big as necessary to give it a more focused perspective on "the kiss"...

Very simple layout, fantastically constructed. Personally, I'd have offset the streetlamp a bit further off, but no biggier.

As for the figures, no comments really. They're right up there with what we've come to expect from you.

Excellent work!Bow Down

Where did the figures come from?

Thanks.  The figs are from "Junior Town"---a hard to find company which is from Korea or Japan, I believe...

I like it!

Thanks, Jim---vignettes or small dios are good to do on the side while working on larger projects to give yourself some satisfaction of getting something done...lol...

Thanks guys---I didn't want to spend too much time on this little vignette so the car probably could use s s *report me* little more subtle weathering, but I did replace one of the kit's windows with acetate to represent the rolled down driver's window.  I also added some military lights and an Army Korps insignia to depict the car belonging to s s *report me* higher HQ--presumably, Paris...Who knows, maybe we will see some of those basterds in 35th scale resin soon!!!

Very Nice! Very nice Herr Fieldmarshal ConfusedYesYes This looks good, i can see theree where some refinements since it's WIP posting, though some are subtle things. I showed it to the Mrs. and she liked it(and she's a tuff critic!) I liked your original story of how he was scooting her off back to Berlin so he could continue amourous persuits during the occupation or some such.... But the Basterds connection is there I'd say, maybe 'cause that movie touched on nearly every war-time-sceme movie I can think of , and I dug it(Brilliant) of course you guys missed how they mis-spelled thier own title on purpose "bastErds"!)               The Red dress goes on with the Bowie song (maybe a place to pull your   title from) "Putting out Fire"

"Well...you gunna pull them pistols, or just whistle Dixie?"

Now that you mentioned "Inglorious Bastards", that's exactly what comes to mind when looking at that!     Outstanding!!

Yeah, it almost reminds me of three scenes rolled into one: when the German "hero" first meets her outside the cinema, the scene where the staff car pulls up to take her to meet Dr. Goebbels and the night of the premier when she is in that sexy dress...

Nice looking stuff manny.

If she is French you can do another showing her at the end of the war with her head shaved being stoned as she runs from town.

LMAO...actually, she is a double-agent...as they are embracing her hand slowly works its way down his back to his holster where she yanks his pistol out--mid kiss...

Just one thing isn't that an English newspaper I seeSurprise. Must have fallen out of that Lancaster that was shot down the night beforeWink.

LOL...yeah, that's it...

After seeing "Inglorious Bastards" I think the girl fig sorta looks like the French girl in the movie, especially with the color of the dress...the cinema would make a neat dio from the movie...
