Anyway, very cool little dio/vignette...but were the bombs painted in an orange color ??? I believe "Fat Man" is shown in pics in orange with grey primer around the seals???
Manny. This is "Little Boy" not "Fat Man" Period colour photos of "Little Boy" are hard to come by, and a search on google will net you photos of replicas which are painted White, Blue, Green, OD and everything in between.
I think a little artistic license is forgiveable.

I agree and I didn't take points away from the color---just made the comment---I do believe that some pics are available in color for Fat Man that do show it in an orangish-yellow color...who knows what they were painted in prior to delivery...probably pics were kept at a minimum for obvious (and not so obvious) purposes...
