I had this problem once, although with vacu polystyrene cobblestone. I went to cut out all the "stones" cut in half by the edge. When you then put the two pieces together try to get "stone-sized" gaps". Then I made several "stones" out of sheet styrene and set them down using some putty. If you avoid straight line joint, the human eye has more problems to recognize it, and that's what we want. Hope it helps, have a nice day

Closing the Gap
Posted by Leddy on Sunday, January 24, 2010 11:19 PM

I have 2 sections of resin cobblestone I want to put together.  There  is a small gap at the ends, up to 1/8 inch in width, maybe from warping.  What is trhe best way to close this gap?  I was considering Squadron putty and then I'd scribe the stone lines in the filler?  Is putty the best medium?   What would be used to thin the putty, if at all?

Suggestions greatly appreciated,

Leddy
