Jagdtiger crushing thru town

Lookin' good - nice to see a project with the suspension in action...people don't do that enough. The weathering is excellent and the rubble is top-notch.

One critique - the tracks would have fallen off about five miles ago if they were that loose. They barely touch the tops of the road wheels when the suspension is sprung to that extent.

I really like the rubble effect there. Good job!

The only thing that stands out to me as a mild question are the books in the bookcase. I'd reckon that they would be more dislodged from the shelves after the house was knocked down.

My first thought, what Adam wrote three times - dang, is he pissed off! I like the idea and the execution a lot. If I was to be picky (and I am picky - sorry!) I'd point out the Anhanger - I'd dent it some, cause now it's a bit like NOS spares lying around. But that's a minor thing of course, as said before I like it a lot. Keep 'em coming, have a nice day

Thanks for the feedback, yeah i don't know for sure on the tracks as i have seen both in photos
where they are really tight, or really lose and touch the wheels. As for the fig, its a verlinden head
that is resin, so really hard to tell what his expression is until you paint it. He sure looks like he
want to run over something tho, lol.

I like it.  Yeah, the suspension may or may not be 'accurate', but it accentuates the effect so well I don't think it matters if it is 'exact'.

One thing that I'd point out - those red and whites on either side of the tank... as you have them painted, they are aiming stakes for artillery (used as an aiming point for firing indirect fire - when they can't see what they are shooting at).  I'm pretty sure that in this context, they are supposed to be cleaning rod sections and should be painted in the camoflage color of the tank or some other appropriate camo color...

Sorry - Anhaenger is german for "trailer". I meant the flak trailer laying there in perfect condition. Hope you read me now, have a nice day

That is some nice weathering ! Probably the best Jagtiger dio I've seen.  As they only saw limited combat in the last couple of months of the war, could one have got that weathered ?  I'm no expert so I'll throw it open for discussion.   Once again, very well done.

maybe right Wirraway, maybe too much for this late war machine?
I just figured he's been mowing over buidings and such?
But mostly, just alot of fun to do!

Yeah, I know a  lot of people do them that way.  No big deal - it definately does not detract from the overall dio and the splash of color is kinda cool....

But I like the montage  version at your site with the background even better. Your ruble pile is a thing of beauty ---tuff to make them look that real & complete. The tanks' weathering spot-on---these things got old quickly
