Hey with that awesome job you did on the kit why don't you make your own case. Like you i wanted to put my aircraft in cases but of course that was almost impossible. FSM ran a piece on making your own cases and it was perfect for me. All you really need is some Plexi-glass a long straight edge and a special cutter for this stuff. I use 1/8 inch cause it is the easiest to cut . Well done on the kit.

Even if it is expensive erock, I think you owe it to yourself and the Tiger, considering the amount of time and effort you put into it, and as damn impressive as it is, to provide it with a suitable case. Throw a pin spot on that beast and you will have a very impressive and prestigous display.

Let us know how you do with the supplier.

QUOTE: That's a nice looking Tiger. Check out JMK Displays. I've had them build up several acrylic lids for me and can recommend them highly. Their workmanship is first rate and I didn't think the price was out of sight. They are out of New York and the cases I received, in Florida, were packed by professionals and arrived without any dings.

Thanks for the compliment!

I looked at the website and the prices seem pretty reasonable (compared to others I have looked at for customs)

Will place an order with them.

Thanks!

You could check with a place that sells ship models, they probally have some large ones. I have seen some pretty god size wood and glass ones at Micheals as well.

Does anyone know of a place (or does someone here actually make) custom acrylic cases? I wanted to have one made for my 1/16 Tiger 1

The largest I have found were for Footballs and Basketballs.
